Description

A matched pair of vinyl coated dumbbells — the starting point for almost any home routine. Good for arms, shoulders, chest and back, and light enough at the lower weights for aerobics, yoga and rehab work.

  • Sold as a pair, not singly. The price you see is for two dumbbells.
  • Vinyl coating gives a non-slip grip, protects your floor and keeps the noise down.
  • Five sizes: 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 KG per dumbbell.
  • Compact enough to leave in a corner and still use every day.

Please note: colour is sent at random.

Why use the Vinyl Coated Dumbbells - Pair?

The pair most people should start with. Light enough to learn the movement properly, heavy enough to keep meaning something months later.

  • Hex ends, so they stay put

Flat sides instead of round ones. Put them down mid-set and they stay where you left them rather than rolling under the bed.

  • Grip that holds when you sweat

The vinyl is textured rather than smooth, so your hand stays put on the last few reps when it matters most.

  • Metal inside, not sand

A weighted metal core under the coating, so the balance stays even through a rep. The vinyl is there to protect your floor, not to make up the weight.

  • Small enough to stay out

Equipment that lives in a cupboard gets used once. These sit in a corner and take up less room than a pair of shoes.

Frequently asked questions

Is the price for one dumbbell or two?
Two. Every weight listed is a pair, and the weight shown is per dumbbell — so 3 KG means two 3 KG dumbbells, six kilos in the box.
Which weight is right for a beginner?
For general toning and shoulder work, 1 to 2 KG suits most women starting out and 3 to 4 KG most men. If you can do fifteen easy reps, the weight is too light.
Can I choose the colour?
No, colour is sent at random. Message us on WhatsApp before ordering if you need a particular one and we will tell you what we actually have.
Will they roll around on the floor?
No. The ends are hexagonal rather than round, so they sit still where you put them down.
