If your frame measures close to 96 cm, take the smaller bar. One sitting near the top of its range grips harder than one stretched to its last centimetre.

Why use the 200kg Heavy Duty Doorway Pull-Up Bar?

Pull-ups build more upper body than any other single movement. This puts a bar in a doorway you already have, with nothing drilled and no holes to explain to a landlord.

  • Wide plates, not small pads

    The gripping surface is 94% larger than the plate on an ordinary door bar. It spreads your weight across a triangle instead of pressing it into one spot, so the frame takes the load and the paint stays unmarked.

  • A spirit level in the bar

    A green bubble sits in the middle of the bar and two more sit in the foot plates. If they are centred, the bar is straight. It is a two-second check before you put your body weight on it.

  • Locks tighter the harder you pull

    The red collar is a load-bearing lock, not a friction screw. A hard rep or a sudden drop tightens its grip instead of shaking it loose.

  • Two sizes, so it actually fits

    Most doorway bars come in one length and hope. Measure your frame, pick 60 to 96 cm or 96 to 150 cm, and it locks comfortably inside the range rather than at the very end of it.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know which size to order?
Measure the inside width of your door frame first. Take 60 to 96 cm for a standard doorway, and 96 to 150 cm for a wide one or a hallway. If you measure close to 96 cm, choose the smaller bar — one near the top of its range holds better than one stretched to its limit.
Will it damage my door frame or the paint?
The plates are soft TPR and spread the pressure over a wide area, so they do not dig in. On a freshly painted frame you may still see a faint mark after months of daily use. Check there is solid brick or concrete behind the frame, not hollow board, before you trust your weight to it.
Does it really hold 200 kg?
That is the rating for the bar itself, and in practice your door frame is the weaker part, not the steel. The first time you fit it, hang with your feet still on the floor and put weight on gradually rather than jumping up.
I cannot do a single pull-up yet. Is it worth buying?
Yes. Start with dead hangs, then slow negatives — jump to the top and lower yourself as slowly as you can. That is how almost everyone gets their first pull-up, and this is the bar you do it on.

Quality was good, It actually can hold good amount of weight, packing was solid, but for some reason if i try to put my weight of 160kg on it , it makes some cracking sound.

Also one Bad thing about this rod is the grip is too narrow.

So only buy it if you are fan of narrow grips.

But i hope i can use this for long term.

i will use it for incline pullups for sure.
